Well I made it to the other side!! I must say the worst part was the gas and the biggest incision site. Other than that I've been lucky so far. Things are far less dramatic than I expected (knock on wood they stay that way)! I've been taking pain meds as needed and walking a ton around the house. Liquids have been a little tough but I'm just on day 2 at home so I won't beat myself up over that. So to those who are up soon- you got this!!

Keep us posted on your experiences. I've got two more weeks until my surgery.

Congrats! I was sleeved the 9th. I could barely get fluids down until about day 6. Then it started getting easier. Keep sipping and walking!

One week post op, 5.75 miles yesterday and 4 miles today. Down 20 lbs since Saturday. Keep sipping and try to keep your proteins up!

Congrats to you! That's awesome on the walking! I'm working hard on protein- each liquid I put in my mouth has at least 15g protein- broths, teas from health wise, and oh yeah brand protein powder. Thanks for the inspiration!
