Gallbladder

I had surgery on 4/23/2014 and had the worst pain yesterday on my right in my rib. It was my gallbladder,  the ER doctor said I need it removed and to callmy surgeon. He also said if I have another attack b4 Tuesday to go back to the ER and they'll get a surgeon to do it. I guess bcus it's a holiday everyone is off. I rather my surgeon do it, he has done other surgeries for me. I guess it back to a liquid diet for me.....

There are few things worse that having a medical issue crop up on a holiday weekend. :(  I'm sorry you're in pain and I hope that you're able to get things sorted out.  

Thanks Gwen, it is but this is so like my body to do this during a holiday. 

You don't have to do a liquid diet, but steer clear of all fat and caffeine (two biggest contributors to GB attacks****il you get that sucker out.

The on call Dr. put me on a full liquid diet.

So sorry to hear this, you'll be in my prayers. I have gotten a few wild pains there too, none that last more than a couple of minutes but I know I'm a ticking time bomb.

I had my sleeve a year ago and after 4 attacks I had my gall bladder out too. It's not a big deal. Get it out and you'll loose more weight from diahreah but that's not too bad. Good luck!
