I bought a really super basic dress, a lot like this one -- http://www.amazon.com/Jessica-London-Womens-Petite-Dress/dp/ B00AQYT5QU/ -- I wore it to the hospital and home from the hospital.  I didn't wear my bra home, since I just didn't care.  I could have due to incision locations, though.  Some people can't.  I don't think I would have wanted a waistband either.  Loose and comfy fit the bill for me!

I wore a loose fitting linen pant suit home. My bra didn't bother me neither did the waist band. I did have a pillow in the car for seat-belt protection. Good luck.

I bought an inexpensive soft cotton bra at Walmart and wore a loose dress. I'd suggest avoiding waistbands. And also, wear slip on shoes with some room, you wont be able (or want) to bend and you'll have a lot of fluid in you.

Make sure you have a pillow for the ride home to place between your body and the seatbelt. Congrats on the surgery!

Congrats on surgery! I wore a sweat shirt and lose fitting waste band type shorts to the hospital. I wore the same thing home. For me personally, the bra did not feel comfortable at all. It took a few weeks for one to not give me discomfort. Maybe bring a comfy one, and see if it will be okay.

I wore a loose pair of black legging capris and a tshirt.  No pain with the bra!  I wore the leggings as I walked the hospital.

I had a very loose elastic waistband on my pants and a large shirt.  Being September, a dress would be even more comfortable.

I wore my regular bra, a cozy roomy t-shirt and loose fitting cotton (t-shirt materiel)  Capris. The bra did not bother me at all, and the waist ban wasn't that snug anyways.

Good Luck

I could hardly fit into the clothes that I wore to the hospital due to the gas from 2 surgeries. My stomach was so disfigured it almost looked lopsided. I wish I had brought some loose pjs.

Good luck!

I wore a T-shirt with capris (elastic waist) and flip-flops. I wore a soft leisure bra and had no discomfort. I also used a pillow on my belly for the ride home.
