Stall after two weeks?

I've read about stalling around 3 weeks, but I'm only 2 weeks (sleeved 8/20). Is this common? How long does it usually last?

I was dropping a min of a lb a day and 3 days ago it just stopped. I know I need to be patient just curious if anyone else has had this happen.

It's normal. Just make sure you keep up with your protein and keep walking. You'll start losing again soon! Good luck!!

Thanks Sandra, I was getting worried I was doing something wrong. I emailed my Nut and she said I was on track with my food, vit, and liquids.

Totally normal.  Weight loss is not a linear function.  :)

Although you may only be two weeks out from surgery, you probably did a pre-op diet for some time also... This could mean you really are at the "three week stall" juncture. :-) Understanding this helped me through that phase too. It will pass, just keep with your program and know the scale will be moving again soon.

Hi and congrats on your surgery! I also had a 2 week stall, and it is totally normal. I think it lasted 6-10 day ish. But started dropping off again after that. I think its our body trying to catch up to all the major changes. Although it is beyond frustrating, hang in there :)

Don't feel lonely...I had my surgery 8/12 and I am at a stall too... Can't shake it loose!! My fat is determined to outlast me, but I am steadily walking daily no matter. I will outlast it this time!!! Hang in there hun!!

I also had a stall within to weeks of surgery (8/14).  It's frustrating.  But now the scale has now moved (in the right direction).

If I think about it, I did a one week liquid diet pre-op.  So it really could have been a short 3 week stall.

But I can definitely say that the inches are going, if not the scale/lbs.  I put on a pair of pants this morning on a whim (they wouldn't go over my butt/hips right before surgery) and they fit comfortably.  My body is changing, that's for sure!
