Not losing as much as I thought I would, but I am getting smaller

Hi,

I am 3 weeks post op, and have lost 19 pounds.  The first 15 pounds lost came in the first week, and it has been slow ever since.  Do you think the first 15 was mostly water, and that I was a little dehydrated after the VSG, and now my body is catching up to itself?

I am getting smaller for sure.  It is really noticeable, and I get a lot of comments about how good I am looking.  Had to go out and buy new pants.  Levis 501's in 34 waist, so I am happy about that.

Thanks

19 pounds in three weeks is a whole lot of weight by any measure, and particularly since you are a "light weight". A stall right around 3 weeks in super common. Do a search here on "3 week stall" and you will find a gajillion posts on it. No worries- just work your plan and it will be fine.
