anyone taking adderal?

I was recently prescribed adderal for my narcolepsy and the nurse at my surgeons office said it's fine too keep taking before surgery but I was looking online and it says to stop taking it before surgery because it can have interactions with the anesthesia. Now I'm freaked out my surgery is on the 10th of November and I have been taking this medication the last 8 days.  I called my surgeons office and they haven't got back to me yet. Did anyone else take adderal up until surgery? I'm stopping taking until I hear back just incase. I don't want to have to reschedule my surgery but I will if it means I'll be safer. 

Can you call and talk to the anesthisaologist (sp) and ask them?

I stopped taking mine 1 week before surgery
