How much do you fluctuate during maintenance?

Hey everyone. I've been doing maintenance for a few months now. All in all, it's going well. I find I do fluctuate as I expected to, but wondering how much everyone else fluctuates, and when to worry? I find I go between 146 and 149.5. I once got up to 150, and the next day it was back down.

It's just weird, because for a few weeks I can be in the 147 range, and these few weeks, I'm in the high 148 range.

Just want to make sure this is normal. i am still logging all food in MFP.

Thanks!

There was an article posted here a few months ago that said water weight can easily cause 4 lb fluctuations.  I am still in weight loss mode but I see 2 to 3 lb fluctuations all the time.

I originally set a goal of 145 and have been hanging out between 143-145 for 4 months. I hit 150 after vacation which for me was too much.  Took that off within a couple of weeks but decided I could use a bit more wiggle room and adjusted my goal range down a bit more to 135-140.  I think I'll just be more comfy there.

I typically have about 3-4 lb variation due to water retention - when i travel and eat out more and have altered activities though similar caloric consumption and burn as at home, I pick up 3-4 lb during that week, which then drops off the following week. So even if I break through the top of my nominal 5 lb maintenance band after one of those trips, I don't panic and do anything except return to normal routine until things settle out the following week.
