So my question is...How did you fight off the carb cravings? This is the first time I've felt this way. I'm doing the paleo thing avoiding bread and wheat and grains as well as really starchy vegetables. And I feel great, but I want something breadline is there such thing as a substitue for bread?? Or is this just crazy lol

Whenever I wanted carbs, I ate a pickle.  Weird, but it worked for me.

It is hard to stop the cravings. I haven't eaten bread, rice, pasta or potatoes in any big quantities since December. It was a difficult thing for me ecause I loved potatoes prepared any way, shape or form. I slipped up in April and had some Panera bread with my salad, and after that the carb monkey was on my back and i craved more... I notice that I am no longer sluggish or bloated since I stopped eating them. The one thing that I crave now and then is dark chocolate, and I am hoping that once I start taking my chocolate calcium chews, that craving will ne satisfied.

Good luck, you can do it!

I have low carb wraps that are also high in protein. When I have carb cravings ill tear a wrap in half and make a deli or chicken wrap. Works for me. A half wrap has 7 carbs, 5g protein, and 4.5g of fiber. It's not something I use every day but it's good once in a while when I really miss having a sandwich.
