I'm exactly the same. Sleeved Tuesday. Felt great Wednesday. Hit by a truck yesterday.  Still feeling nauseous this morning and headachy. Hope it gets better. I gained 10.5 pounds from the surgery but that was all gone this morning so I'm assuming it takes some time. My belly isn't that sore but I can't take my pain med.  I have liquid Tylenol with codeine and it really gags me.  Good luck.  I hope we both feel better soon.

My surgery was on Monday and I had the same experience. Felt great on Tuesday and by that evening I hit a wall. I was in a lot of pain on Wednesday, but felt better yesterday and much better today. For me it took about 5 days to feel better. I'm still moving around slowly and having a hard time getting in the fluids, but feeling so much better. Hang in there. It will get better...that's what I keep telling myself!

My Mac Truck effect was Day 3 as well.  Expect to be sore for a couple of weeks, and fatigued for the same amount of time, but maybe longer (for me it was 5-6 weeks).  Now you hydrate.  64oz - sip all day, no excuses.

Maybe see if they have something stronger for pain? I was on a patient controlled pain pump for the first day and half and they switched me to oral Oxycodone 5 mg every 4 hours. I was also getting Toroidal every 6 hours via IV. Funny thing about that when they switched me from pain pump to oral medicine the nurse had me take a hit of the pain pump then gave me 10mg of Oxycodone. For about 3 hours I was high as a kite. I was watching youtube on my laptop just laughing my butt off.

I didn't really feel any pain until the ride home when all the pain meds had worn off (I forgot to ask for some for the trip home). Also I think my dad took the bumpiest road he could find. I felt EVERY bump.

It wasn't until day 4 or 5 that I started to feel human. Hang in there!

For me, the Mack truck came as soon as I was revived in the recovery room. After a 3-4 days it was much improved. Here are some tips that helped me.

Stay ahead of the pain and keep taking the pain meds. Be sure to also take nausea meds too, trust me dry heaving sucks.

Walk Walk Walk, Sip Sip Sip is more than a saying it's a way of life.

GasX Strips were a Godsend for me.

Hang in there and don't do too much, don't push yourself. Listen to your body.

It will get better, sooner than you think.

Are you taking your pain killers?  I started feeling better in a week or so.  Even better by 2 weeks.
