I'm on day 6 post-op and trying to figure out what multi vitamin to take. I've menopaused sooo don't need the extra iron, don't need any extra constipation Ugh!, but the chewable vitamins for bariatrics all seem to have iron in them. Any suggestions out there??

I take Trader Joe's High Potency chewable multi's. For the first year after surgery I took a double dose, but now I can eat enough that I'm comfortable only taking one. They do have iron but it's a small amount, 9 mg. They have fewer calories and carbs than most other chewable vitamins (particularly the bariatric ones, go figure) and are cheaper as well. My bloodwork has always been great.

Thanks, haven't thought of checking at Trader Joe's.

Centrum has chewables - and I believe Centrum Silver doesn't have iron.

DoTerra's AtoZ chewables...they only have 5mg for 2 tablets.   They are a little tart, but not too bad overall!

I was told to take Bariatrics fusion vitamins. I got the wild cherry and hate them. I get sick just smelling them. And I have to have 2 twice a day. Good luck
