6 weeks post op and first person noticed
It looks like you've lost a similar amount to what I had lost before people commented. 50-60 pounds did it for me. :)

At work my teammates tell me I am shrinking. It definitely feels great to be recognized during our journey. I am sure that as we get further in our journey we will get less comments as we will be seen at our current weight and people will not know the pre journey weight. They definitely boost your ego.

At least for some of us bigger people, it took some time before people started noticing. I would say not until 40-50lbs before people started commenting. At around 80lbs is when people really started noticing and were surprised when I told them how much. I also had two different people recently mention that I looked different and asked if I cut my hair shorter. It was the same length I have had for years. I just smiled and nodded.
