I am a sushi, sashimi lover! I'm going to stay away from sushi for now( even with brown rice) because I'm staying away from carbs. sashimi on the other hand is just plain fish. I was ok'ed but my NUT to start incorporating flaky fish into my diet, but none is appealing...and I have tried. I'm only one month out, so I don't wanna screw up. Wanna get back to my old favs. Any thoughts?

I think I was about 4-6 weeks out when I started eating sashimi again. I love my sashimi! Unfortunately I'm not yet there after my revision because I've had so many complications that has setback my food progression. It's a bit frustrating, but I know that it's temporary. One suggestion, however, most places offer a sashimi appetizer. I would start there, and then add as you are able.

I'd eat it.

Of course, I started eating sushi again at about 3 months out.  One roll is three delicious meals for me!
