Hip Hip Hooray!  I lost 3 lbs this week after staying the same since December 4th! I will be 6 weeks out on Tuesday. Can I trust that the stall is over? Maybe what I needed was just a little change. I've been slightly off this week because of the holiday. I wasn't bad but might have had some different foods and my schedule was a little different. Anyway, I'll take it. It's just in time for my surgeon appointment on Tuesday!!! Finally!

Thanks! Just noticed our starting weights and goals are very close! I probably have age on you though! LOL! I'm an old lady for this surgery!

Great! Mine too.  I stalled around week 2 then suddenly lost 4lbs in five days then 3 more a few days later.  I finally got a decent digital scale yesterday.  It also tells how much you are down from the last reading. Now I don't have to guess if the line is on 0 or is it on the five or lower.  Anyway, it was a great investment.  My goal is to be under 200lbs (by the doctor's scale including cloths and shoes) by the next appointment 1/8.  I think it's doable.

Thanks and great for you! Onederland by January 8th sounds wonderful! I think it's going to take me quite awhile to get there! I hope you make it!! I've got to do some research on my own life! Lol! I can't even remember how many years it has been since I was under 200! I have to look up some old Weigh****chers records. Good Luck! If you think it's doable, it's doable!!!

Don't be discouraged.  We all start out in different places.  I'm not sure where you are but I am 3weeks but I lost 13lbs before surgery.  I have lost about the same as you.  I have also been exercising for almost a year now and that has helped.  It took me 9months to lose what I have in 5weeks and that's not even to mention the yo-yoing. Thus the surgery.  We will lose at different rates but we will all make it to the same place eventually.
