Groceries last so much longer...

I'm part amused and part ashamed to see how much longer food, leftovers and groceries in general are lasting- after I had surgery.  I told my mom if she decides to get sleeved, we may only have to buy groceries once every few months!

So funny! I am feeling the same way...portions I would normally eat in one or 2 sittings are lasting an entire week. It is awesome to feel full on so little :)

I am excited about this too.  I am thinking about the "SmartOnes" frozen where I could eat about 3 of them.  Now I don't think I could eat one.  (When I get to that point anyway)  I can use the $$$ I save from groceries to buy new clothes that actually look nice not frumpy.

Yes, I've saved a small fortune in my overall food bill. The money I save is going towards new clothes now!

I ordered eggplant Friday night and I had it last night for dinner, today for lunch and packaged up the rest for breakfast tomorrow! Previously I would have ate this in one sitting! I can't eat my groceries or leftovers fast enough and I have to throw some stuff out! I feel wasteful, but spending less money!

Yes!  It's like, I ask, "do we need bread?  Butter?  Eggs?  Milk?" Things I used to have to buy almost every single day- now every time I ask I'm told we have plenty!  LOL. Like I said, funny, but also embarrassing to see I was basically the food vacuum of the house...

I often would buy cooked chickens from the supermarket and now I know if I buy one it means I can't buy any steak or fish or anything else as that cooked chicken will cover lunch and dinner for my (4 year old) daughter and I for about 4 days!!!

Lots of things end up in the freezer
