How do you track tablespoons..lol or did you bother tracking at this stage?

I'm not sure what 'stage' you're at but possibly early post-op? If so, I didn't bother tracking at that stage.

However, MFP does let you track tablespoons, teaspoons (convert to ml if needed) in the various foods. There are always ways to track foods. I confess, some things like mustard or celery I sometimes skip as the calories are so negligible. Sorta like trying to measure a tbsp of chopped onion in tuna salad... I would track the mayo, relish, cheese, tuna, etc. but trying to track the chopped onion wasn't easy. And for what it would add, it almost wasn't worth it.

Does this help to answer your question? I'm sure others can chime in too...

If it is a small amount and doesn't contain carbs then I often don't bother.  If there is sugar then I do.   It depends on your stage and the amount.

I tracked most everything I ate 3 months before surgery.  It shocked me how many calories I was eating.

If you find your food entry that you want, tap on the food, and it will take you to a screen with portion size.  Sometimes that is adjustable.  Below that is a serving size that you can adjust from 1/8 up.  Hope this helps

I'm in phase 2 ,maybe too early to start tracking. I looked around on the portion sizes, I just couldn't go small enough. I probably need to wait till phase 3 starts. Thx everyone.

4 T = 1/4 cup -- so if I was doing 1 T. of something I would find the 1/4 c. measure and say I was putting in .25 of a serving.  If you want to get that precise.  Frankly, a tablespoon of anything (other than fat) isn't going to make a big difference on your numbers.
