MFP question
I'm not sure what 'stage' you're at but possibly early post-op? If so, I didn't bother tracking at that stage.
However, MFP does let you track tablespoons, teaspoons (convert to ml if needed) in the various foods. There are always ways to track foods. I confess, some things like mustard or celery I sometimes skip as the calories are so negligible. Sorta like trying to measure a tbsp of chopped onion in tuna salad... I would track the mayo, relish, cheese, tuna, etc. but trying to track the chopped onion wasn't easy. And for what it would add, it almost wasn't worth it.
Does this help to answer your question? I'm sure others can chime in too...

I tracked most everything I ate 3 months before surgery. It shocked me how many calories I was eating.
If you find your food entry that you want, tap on the food, and it will take you to a screen with portion size. Sometimes that is adjustable. Below that is a serving size that you can adjust from 1/8 up. Hope this helps
