Miracle Noodles?

Hi,

My doc has STRICTLY prohibited any sugar, carbs (at least for a while...then no white carbs), and my other favorite food groups.  I just ordered some miracle noodles, as it appears they're no carb and made with some japanese root or mushroom or something.  Has anyone tried these?  If so, any preparation suggestions?

Thanks,

Sarah

Why do you feel the need to run down butt, when you clearly haven't tasted it? That's just mean.

I've tried them and enjoyed them in asian-inspired soups, but that was pre-op. They have NO protein though, so I wouldn't eat them now.

Really good point - there wasn't nutritional info online so I missed that.  That's really good advice.  Thank you!

Later on in the journey, I've been told that Zoodles (zucchini noodles) are acceptable... and I can attest that they're super yummy.

I actually bought a "Vaghetti", and it spirals squash or zuchinni into thin strips.  I am pre surgery, but my husband and I both liked the Zuchinni strips with pasta sauce.

You must rinse them extremely well. The smell when you open the bag is awful.
