I find Italian cuisine to be the most challenging post-op, at least restaurant Italian.  Sadly, I don't always have a lot of input into where a group goes to eat.

What cuisines do you find to be particularly challenging?

I would go with the Garlic Shrimp and a Small Wedding Soup.

If not.. Veal Parm.

I have not found anything to difficult except Sausage... Figuring it was ground meat it would be easy..but it goes down like a stone!

I'm thinking about the filet mignon with potato and veg.  Or chicken marsala.  Or maybe the crab cake.

Thankfully crab cakes around here tend to have little filler, but it's something I always ask about before I order one just to be safe :)

Me too. I would get the filet and eat it for a few days or my other choice would be the chicken Milanese.  That sounded yummy.

I would do garlic shrimp salad or the crab cake!  I am with you - I find Italian to be most challenging and never suggest it.  EXCEPT for Lupo Verde here in DC where they have a cheese plate to die for...I just eat cheese for dinner lol.  high protein, low carb, high fat but delicious!

Good luck at Primo's...there are some things on that menu that would definitely will hold some temptation for me :(

I'm pretty sure I could order charcuterie plates everywhere.  Yum.  Cheese and meat, what could be better?

Maybe the cup size of cream of crab. Or a side of meatballs

I'd order the salmon, grilled with no sauce, and have them steam the asparagus.  But, that's just my 2 cents.  You can ask for a side of marinara to dip the salmon in.  Filet mignon is another option.  Enjoy your time out!
