Add a little water to thin out the shakes a little bit?

Try warming them up a little?  Try different brands of shakes?

I had a hard time at first too. I was using the ready to drink premier protein and for me they were just too thick. I switched for a few shakes to Nectar and did fruit flavored ones. Then went to body tech whey protein from vitamin shoppe. At first I did with 1 c skim milk but now do 1/2 c skim 1/2 c water. I also will mix in some PB2 powder to mix it up. PB2 also has 5 grams protein and anything to boost my protein was a bonus.
