Hello you all,

Surgery went well I had one issue with nausua right after they gave me the pepcid but after that no more. I was one of the fortunate ones I did not need the pain medication at all in the hospital but I did take it once on Tues evening when I came home. I'm doing good at keeping things done no trouble swollowing but I think I might be sipping to often because I do get the pain in my stomach. I guess that is from over filling my new stomach to quickly. I am having difficulty getting in all my liquids in. I don't know if I over did it but I just came back from walking about 3 miles in 1 hr. I took my little bottle of water and sip sip sip. Honestly I feel great. I will tell you that when they wheeled me into the surgery room and I looked around at the BIG lights and a young lady arageing the surgical tools the first thing that came to my mind was "I changed my mind" LOL

Congrats!! Sounds like your experience was similar to mine. ESPECIALLY the part after being wheeled in. They had me shimmy over to the operating table and I was like "Nope!!" Heh. Heh. Heh.

I had VSG surgery on 7/27/15 also. So far so good. I have huccups today though...

My hardest moment was driving to the hospital I was seriously considering turning around and going to work instead.
