Nothing wrong with Pure Protein it will work just fine, unless you are lactose intolerant.  Pure Protein contains whey concentrate which contains lactose.  If you develop lactose intolerance ( diarrhea, bloating, nausea after drinking your shakes) you might have to find a protein powder that is whey isolate only (not mixed with whey concentrate).  It is 99% lactose free.

If you like it, and it's working for you, keep using it!

Just curious, why did you think there was something wrong with it?

In a group im in they say has to be 100 percent why protein isolate. I think its cuz the founder Susan Leach has her own protein powders thats expensive.

I was originally told to go with whey isolate as well, but that was a few years back. Could be a bit out of date perhap?

If you do develop a problem with lactose, which is really common post op, I would recommend Syntrax Nectar. A 5lb bag costs $50, and a 1lb container of Pure Protein costs $10, so the price is about equivalent if you get it in bulk.

My program strongly recommended Whey Protein Isolate.
