Such a Great NSV!

I'm 24 days out from surgery and saw my PCP today for an ear problem.  She took my blood pressure and said that I may need to go off my blood pressure medication very soon.  I've been on this same medication for over 20 years, and thought it would be a permanent part of my life.  I'm beyond excited that I may be able say goodbye to this medication and possibly my cholesterol medication in the next few months.  Thank goodness for VSG!!!!!!

These are exactly the types of victories about which I love to read!!!!! Congrats!

I hope you are off both meds very, very soon! (Remember, cholesterol has a genetic component. Weight loss isn't always enough.)

Yes, my doc said the cholesterol med may need to stay, but getting off the BP med was my first priority.
