Something sweet?

I am craving something sweet, and have been for days.  I've tried fruit, sweet yogurt, nuts, and peanut butter.  I'm jonesing for a cookie.  Before I go off the rails, can others share what sweet "cheats" they rely on?  I'd prefer they be close to healthy and relatively low in processed sugar.

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this is the sort of thing you are looking for, but I brew a cup of chocolate hazelnut tea, add chocolate sweet drops and a dash of light cream.

I'm a big fan of the no sugar added fudgesicles.  They are creamy and delicious and if you go crazy, have 2, lol.

I love jello. I'm experimenting with sugar free jello treats, using more grown-up flavors and unflavored gelatin. You can even make sugar free gummy bears.

Sugar free popsicles have sugar alcohols and upset my stomach.

I like the sugar free chocolate vanilla swirl pudding. I also like the pure protein bars. I have to account for the carbs there's about 17 carbs in them but it tastes like a candy bar and have 20gm of protein too. So when I'm really craving something sweet those are the things I have. Or the no sugar added fudgecicles

What works for me:

1. Drink more water, if you're not already drinking enough. I find that cravings diminish when I'm well-hydrated.

2. My special treat at about 25 calories is a daily cup of black, unsweetened coffee, which I sip while slowly eating my sweet vitamin gummies. I don't know why, but this is a very satisfying snack that fills me up as though I had eaten a whole meal. And I get the bonus of a little sweet without danger of overindulging.

3. You said you've tried fruit. Try again. Eat some luscious, perfectly ripe fruit. I know many sleevers don't approve of fruit, but I've been eating it daily in small quantities ever since I recovered from the surgery. They provide a nice natural sweet that has the bonus of fiber and good nutrients. A completely ripened Bartlett pear, a perfect peach, a wedge of juicy cantaloupe -- all in season and deliciously sweet and good for you. I try to eat two servings of fruit every day.

BTW, kudos on your resisting junk food despite cravings for it. You're doing the exact right thing -- finding something to either eliminate the craving or eat something healthy that will scratch the itch.

What I will tell you is that eating fruit, sweet yogurt and peanut butter during weight loss mode will absolutely 100% awaken the carb monster in you.  It's no wonder you're wanting a cookie.

My advice would be to completely cut out ALL sweet-tasting stuff for the next few days so you can kick these cravings to the curb.

I love protein pudding pops when I'm craving something sweet that takes awhile to eat.
