Hello, I just wanted to pass on this info I received from my dr office.  Its a vitamin patch, which is something I never heard of, that has all the vitamins we are required to have including 1500 mg of calcium.   There's a coupon code that saves $6., so it comes to $20. a month with shipping.  If anyone is interested its patchmd.com and the code is KLEARMD.   I'm not sure it this is sold in stores yet.

Take care

Janine

Yeo, For quite a while there we could get codes for 40% off. I think this is the first time I have seen someone post where their doc has recommended them. I have been using them for a while and my labs have never been better. Just a heads up though, some of us also add on the calcium patch.

I'm always late to find out anything.  I'm glad to hear your lab work is good, I was wondering how effective a vitamin patch would be.

Be sure to get your labs done, but there are a bunch of us on this site that switched over. All of our labs have been coming in very good. There are a few of us that prior to using the patch would always have some of our levels go low. In my case I had persistently low iron and D3. After just a few weeks of the patch, my levels really came up. If they end up working well for you and your labs come back good, post here on OH so others know. It is such a relief to not have to swallow the pills for many. In my case it helps a ton because I forget to take them a couple times a week, and the patch is strong enough to still work for me.

The patch works for some people but not for everyone. Plus your body may not absorb some of the vitamins - minerals and you may need more. Only regular blood testing can tell you how well you do on patches.

That's what I thought too, I still need to take extra iron since I have anemia.

That's what my nutritionist said...the patches don't have any studies/data to support their effectiveness, so she suggested I look for other alternatives. Is good to hear they work for some, though.

I got really nauseous from the water multi-vitamins, so she has me on gummy vitamins for kids for now.
