It takes a while to get the full feeling.  Nerves in your stomach have been cut.  You should feel restriction when you begin eating solid proteins.

Hunger is individual.  I am almost nine years out and have never felt hunger.  Many people say it returns for them a few months out, some people say they feel hunger from the beginning.

I am also just past 2 weeks. At first I had that "full" feeling. And I would know when I should stop eating or drinking.  At about a week and a half, I started feeling "hungry".

I was worried I stretched mine by drinking to much water one afternoon while out doors. My pcp said it's normal.  I just try to eat a couple ounces every 4 hours. The thing I'm concerned about now, is Burping. I've never been a burper lol

The burping side-topic made me laugh, because I was never much of a burper either.  Now I "burp" myself almost every time I eat by gently thumping my upper chest, but I think I do it somewhat unconsciously at this point, and I have to make sure I don't do it when someone might be watching and think I'm really bizarre - lol.   Feels good to get the bubbles out though! :)

I'm so glad you wrote this question because I am practically at the same stage as you are and was feeling and thinking the same thing.  I have quite intense hunger pains, actually.  Plus, I don't ever truly feel full when I'm eating.  Thanks everyone for your input.  It helps to know I am not alone with this.  :)
