It's October!  How is that possible?  Today is the day I update my goals, something I've been really slacking on this year.  It's also the day for measurements!  Those things are on my blog, so I won't spam them here, but it's weird how I can feel like I've lost a billion inches since last month and then measure myself to find that it's really like half an inch ;)  But I've lost 20 pounds in the last 10 weeks so I'm pretty happy with that.  Especially considering all the talk of honeymoons, etc.  21 pounds to go to reach the goal I set for starting to get the ball rolling on plastic surgery!  And 2 pounds to go until I'm securely lower than my partner's weight :D  

1: protein shake
2: I feel like the only things in the fridge right now are things that I don't eat.  I think I'll scramble up some eggs, a new potato, and cheese.  Yum.  
3: spice-rubbed chicken fingers with cilantro dipping sauce, pasta w/ sundried tomato pesto for the guys - I think the chicken recipe was originally a South Beach Diet Cookbook recipe.  I used to make it often, but haven't for years.  Can't wait to eat it again!  

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: about to go out, in the rain, for w4d2 of Zombies Run 5k Training.  Then I'll do 30 minutes of post-run yoga stretching.  My hips are slowly getting back on board with the whole running/stretching thing.  (Today isn't normally a running day, but I'm going to the Ren Faire tomorrow and don't want to have to wake up super early to run prior to that.  Not to mention the Ren Faire is a lot of walking that I don't want to do after having run.)  

How about you?  What's up on this first Saturday of the month?

Its a rainy day here too. I dont do good when its gloomy out. Im trying to wake up and drink my water before I eat breakfast.

B egg whites and one whole egg ham and cheese omelet and string cheese

L chicken salad and vegetable chili

D pork loin and sliced carrot

S greek yogurt, turkey sausage snack sticks and apple

W & V on track

E im going to the mall today so some walking

I hear you on the gloomy thing.  I was diagnosed with SAD quite some time ago and definitely noticed a difference in my quality of life when I replaced my light bulbs with full spectrum light bulbs.  I wish I had known about them sooner!  They don't completely fix things, but they definitely make life better.  

Hang in there and enjoy your mall trekking :)

Happy Saturday, everyone.  I slept in until 9 today, and so I'm slow getting started this morning.

The spice-rubbed chicken fingers sound great. I'll have to check out the recipe

I'm finally back on track and losing weight.  I hope today will be equally successful.

I'm finishing off left-overs today and will start cooking more goodies for next week including chicken and broccoli casserole, crack slaw, harvest chicken salad and phily cheese steak sloppy joes.  I love healthy eating!

Breakfast - chicken with Dijon and lime

Lunch - thai chicken in peanut sauce

Dinner - orange chicken with spinach

vitamins and water - good

exercise - not so good.
