5 days post op and I managed to hit my protein goal AND water goal. This is a huge weight off my shoulders! I didn't particularly like it and I can't wait until I can have some variation in my protein (that isn't so stinking sweet...all...the..time), but this was a big step!

Donna, if you're using unflavored protein powder and not premixed drinks, mix it into some beef or chicken broth.  Helped me a lot during my liquid phase, and tastes great!  Just remember broth can't be over 140 degrees Fahrenheit or it will cook the protein!

We have some stuff called Nature's Harvest that has veggies and protein in it. It is like drinking a bag of swamp water, but you sort of develop a taste for it. Blending in a banana once you get far enough along really helps. 

We call it glop here at home, but it really isn't bad.  It just looks that way.
