Hi all!

Im new here and had surgery on 1/6/17. Currently I feel great and I'm moving past my mushy stage and introducing new food. Problem is at my first week follow up I lost 20lbs which is great! Then for the last 8-9days I've been stuck at 245lbs. I know there is a 3 week stall but when does it break? Will it break? Or did I do all this changing for 20lbs? I'm not frustrated but getting concerned. I know this has to be part of the process but how do I break it?

thanks!

It'll break :). All I can say is be patient (I know how boring hehe) but your body is adjusting and it will continue to adjust throughout the next few months. My 3rd month was the worst. Most of my mini stalls (real stalls to me are ~1 month) last from 7-9 days, then a big drop. Just make sure you hit those water and protein goals, and you'll be fine.

Congratz on your surgery!

Your body is trying to figure out what just happened to it. Let it do it's thing to heal and adjust and you do yours by following plan and meeting goals. My first one lasted 2 weeks. Now I know to expect them and have realized that I am losing inches when the scale doesn't go dow. Let the frustration go because your body doesn't need that added stress on it right now.

Is it possible to even gain during a stall? I am coming up on my cycle and I noticed I'm up a lb. I'm feeling slightly bloated so I'm blaming that lol
