Good morning Everyone!  Happy Monday!  Back from the gym after a shearing arm workout.  Thank God my fingers still work!

 

Yesterdays #'s:  Calories-906, Fat-26.6g, Fiber-5.5g, Carbs-65.3g, Sodium-1476.4mg, Protein-100.6g, Water-64.3 floz.  Daily Calorie Composition: 29% from carbs, 26% from fat and 45% from protein.

 

AM/B: SF white mocha w ON white chocolate protein  

L: red grapefruit and L&F yogurt  

D: Turkey & Quinoa  

S: Premier Protein (no coffee)

Today's goal - no junk

B:  1.5 slices dark rye with 2% cottage cheese 

l:  Banana chobani

D:  chicken cooked in diced tomato, onion garlic

S:  1/2 naval orange

E:  going to the gym at lunch!

L/V:  good... I've stocked up on vitamins at work so I have no excuses.

Happy Monday!

I had a great weekend.  The crossfit open started on Thursday.  I killed the first workout - twice.  I'm not going to be competitive YET! but maybe next year.  :)  My goal this year is to complete 3 RX workouts.  RX is the perscribed workout.  Then there is a scaled workout.  I will have to scale some of the workouts because I can not do pull ups ofr handstand push ups yet - and there could be a weight that I just can't safely lift in a workout yet.  We will see.  But for the first workout - I did it RX.  So 1/5 complete.  Hopefully I can get 2 more at the RX level :)

Food for today:

B: chike & coffee

L: chicken tikka masala

S: yogurt parfait & protein shake

D: either more chicken curry or some chicken & veg concoction

S: cottage cheese & blackberries

E: crossfit & maybe some rowing

I've looked into doing crossfit but I don't think I could.  I have trouble lifting a 5 lb bag of potatoes.  How long have you been doing crossfit?

I started just over a year ago.  Every workout can be scaled -- so really anyone can do it.  It is so much fun & addicting.  If you do it, make sure you find a place with a good coach.  You can hurt yourself if you don't have proper form, so you need a coach who pays attention to form!

Still Pre-Op, here's what today looks like. 

 

B- Protein Shake: 8oz Fair Life Milk, 1 scoop Muscle Milk Light Vanilla, 2 TBS PB2 (first time using the PB2, I like it)

L-3.5 oz grilled chicken tenderloins, 1/2 cup Buffalo Cauliflower steamed (from the freezer section of the grocery store) with .5 oz Sharp Cabot Cheese

S- Light & Fit Greek yogurt

D- 4 oz Chicken breast stuffed with Laughing cow cheese, broccoli and 1/4 c brown rice

S-1 navel orange
