Hi! Tomorrow is two weeks out from surgery, which, for me, means I'm moving up to soft foods!!! Hallelujah!!!! I never want another spoonful of chicken broth in my life!!!! ? I am already struggling for ideas of what to eat the next two weeks of this new stage. Any ideas appreciated!!

I ate lots of soft fish. Tilapia in particular. Yum.

It all depends on what your plan allows. Some people ate refried beans w/cheese and soft fish like Gwen. My plan did not allow those things. Mine was yogurt, cottage cheese, mashed potato, scrambled eggs, SF pudding, pureed soup, and cream of wheat.

Ricotta is one of my favorites. You can make it savory with a little tomato sauce and cheese, then nuke or bake it to taste like lasagna. You can also make it sweet with some SF instant pudding and a little milk (or cream) to your desired consistency.

I ate refried beans, chili, tuna or egg salad made with Greek yogurt instead of mayo, sugar free pudding with protein powder added, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, and ricotta.

My soft foods included: cream soups, cottage cheese w/ mayo & salt & pepper, cream cheese, cream potatoes, instant pudding with added protein powder, I made a soup with rotel tomatoes, velveeta cheese, and canned tamales - put in magic bullet and turned it into a liquid. I would only do 1/2 cup or 2 or 3 tbs a day - but it was wonderful to have something with some "taste" to it.
