im on my 2wk liquid pre op diet, day 3 and notice I run out of energy quickly. I'm assuming this is normal?

Totally normal. The first 3-5 days are the worst.

What does your pre-op diet entail? Mine was 5-6 protein shakes a day.

Mine is liquid with at least 80-90gms of protein. I'm also allowed 2 meals a wk that are low (no) carb and high protein. Today is the day for my first meal so maybe I'll feel better after I have that.

YOU CAN DO IT! But I totally empathize, it's def tough. Are you allowed any solid food? I just finished the first of four meals I'll have this 2wks and I'm so grateful.....lol

No food... just 4 meal replacement shakes a day, broth, 8 oz skim milk and 1 non fat yogurt plus sugar free drinks .... I did have 2oz of low fat cottage cheese a couple days just to get me through...

June 26th ... I know that cottage cheese isn't on my plan but I figured if I need to cheat it's high protein and low fat so really not terrible. I'm really trying my hardest, it's just rough
