I opted to start setting my alarm for 5:40 am because I've been waking up early anyway and this gives me time to relax a bit before I have to rush off to work and meetings. We put in the AC last night because it was still hot when we went to bed and we both slept like rocks. Jon got up with me and took off on his unicycle already, so it must be he's ok with the earlier wake time too.

Today includes my normal morning of meetings (meh).

And here I was thinking I'd get to post this morning since I woke up so early! Then I got distracted doing stuff to get ready.

I'm up early because today is my first fitness class day. I am super dubious about pilates because I can't actually crunch. Both legs in table top might also be a no go. But I look cute? I'm feeling much better about the yoga class that is after pilates. Once I get back home today I really need to focus on school for the rest of the day. I'm losing this weekend and Friday, so I need to make sure I get everything finished by the end of day on Thursday. (Except for my forum replies, I can put those off until Saturday or Sunday.)

1: protein shake
2: protein shake
3: probably leftover ground beef curry but maybe steak and asparagus stir fry if no one else has finished it off!

liquid and vites: on track
exercise: pilates class, yoga class (hopefully)

Update - my fitness classes went really well although they were exhausting due to the combination of out of shape and the mental energy it took to "listen to my body." But I did them both with lots of modifications and I survived!!

I'm going to see Diana Ross in concert tonight! Two NSVs about it - one, the seats at the venue aren't very big but I'm not worried and two, I'm going by myself because I wanted to see her and no one else wanted to go. I don't think I would have been confident enough to do that 70+ pounds ago.

My kayaking went well yesterday! I think I'll do it again today.

B - coffee and yogurt

L - protein shake

D - Real Good Pizza (chicken /parm crust)

S - edamame

I had 1/2 Real Good Pizza last night for dinner. Cheese. I really like it. I've had the Supreme and Pepperoni before, but this was the first time that I tried Cheese.

Well I have been struggling a bit in the evenings. I need to get back to not mindlessly snacking. Ugh - this whole forever thing is a pain (not the forever not obese thing, just the forever not becoming obese again thing).

I was feeling like garbage yesterday and my teeth and gums hurt. I convinced myself it was just a weird sympton of a cold, but last night it became very clear that no there is indeed something wrong with a tooth or two. I'm currently in between excruitiating pain as my tylenol has kicked in. When it fades out the pain is unbearable. I'm going to get myself to a dentist today one way or another. I'm scared and kind of irritated. I was at the dentist 2 months ago and they said everything was fine. I'm not sure how something could deteriorate so quickly.

Food:

B - fit frappe & coffee (slowly b/c cold is bad on my tooth)

L - salad w/ chicken

S - yogurt w/ berries & protein shake

D - maybe sushi otherwise leftover if I'm not up for going out

S - cottage cheese & berries (for reals)

E - crossfit (crossing my fingers the dentist doesn't get in the way)

Any chance you might have a vitamin deficiency? I read that WLS patients can end up with tooth/gum issues several years out due to an undiagnosed deficiency (just like we are more susceptible to bone loss). Of course, that's the extreme answer.

Any chance you're a grinder? Especially if you're under a lot of stress. Grinding and clenching during waking and sleep hours can wreak havoc on your teeth. Once I got a mouth guard, it helped so much with the pain.
