Good Morning, VSGers! Two nights in a row of sleeping straight through until 5am. Woot! I'm headed to Lake Placid for the day to take in the leaves at peak and wander around the shops. It's supposed to be 90 degrees for a few more days and then finally break into fall.

8 months post op/Maintenance/135.8lbs

I found a new place to walk yesterday. It's along the river, which is lovely, but it's all grass, which isn't great for the stroller. I guess that means it's my secret place for now.

Good morning! I was up a 4:45 AM so I can sleep well tonight and get up at 4:30 AM tomorrow to go into the office. Luckily I only have to do take a few more times before I'm done (once a week max). Yesterday was a perfect day at the beach. I'd say it was one of the most perfect for summer except it was fall. Have a marvelous Monday!

1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 34 work days to retirement (11/13).

Good morning all! Erin you sure do live in a pretty part of the country with all those places close to you!

A busy day yesterday yanking out garden stuff, washing the dog twice because he rolled in deer poop after the first bath , and packing. I have a few hours this morning to finish up and then heading back to CA.

QOTD: Having lost and regained so many times in my life, I'm surprised by how each time is different in terms of where I lose weight and how my body looks. Like this time, oy, my neck is not fairing well and I have creases framing my mouth I didn't get on previous attempts. But on the plus side my bra-line fat went away a lot earlier this time . Bodies are weird!

We do live in a gorgeous place! I only regret that it's so cold/snowy in the winter.

It's Monday! I managed to finish all of my work that was due last night, at the end of week 2 of 8 for my classes. I'm already feeling completely screwed for my week 3 since this week is stupidly busy and I'm effectively losing 4 days of work. Oh well. I'll get by, I always do.

Today is a super exciting day since I'm meeting up with one of my bffs and we're going to the lingerie store and then lunch! She hasn't ever done the bra fitting thing and is a bit intimidated, so she asked if we could go together and I really, really need to do the bra fitting thing right now. While she isn't a WLS person, she does eat similarly to how I eat, so it'll be fun.

1: protein shake
2: hopefully the charcuterie plate and the cheese plate at a place in Alexandria. But I noticed they also have a "hummus and duck plate" so that's also a possibility! (Split with my friend.)
3: Thai Pork Tenderloin with Cucumber Salad (from Cook's Country), maybe rice for the guys? I don't know if this is something that they'd want rice with or not. I have a ridiculous number of pork tenderloins in the freezer, though. I get them from my mom when she has money to use up on her meal plan at the end of the month...

exercise: nope! But I'll get to walk around Old Town Alexandria, so that'll be lovely.

I spent the weekend at my grandmothers with my cousin, so food was interesting.

QOTD: This time around, My hips are nice and trim, with little fat. Actually, most of my body is, and I think I have all my training to thank. It still trips me out when I pick up a size 28/29 and look at it. It still looks tiny, and I'm shocked I can put it on.

AM: SF white chocolate peppermint mocha
