Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Friday 10/13/17
Morning! Today is endurance day. I need to be out of the house by 6:30am and I probably won't walk back in until 10pm if I'm lucky. I do have a black tie dinner to work tonight and I'll hopefully be able to share some pictures of my awesome dress! After today I have another 7am - 12pm or so tomorrow and I'll be done with another Board of Trustees.
QOTD: Do you like to dress up or are jeans your thing? I wear dresses/business casual attire to work all week. I really like jeans and work out clothing on the weekends. But, I've found that finding a dress for dinner has been much more fun at an average weight than when I was MO!

Isn't today Friday the 13th (I think so)? I don't miss the days like yours when I was booked from dawn to bedtime. That used to be the norm especially when I worked fulltime and went to school at night (did that for about 8 years).
QOTD: I like to wear jeans and other casual clothes, but definitely like to have a reason to dress up occasionally. I'm still wearing my nice work clothes to the office (when I go in), even though they went fully casual a few months ago. And I love a reason to get super dressed up once in a while (now that I can wear something nice). I already have a black velvet/lace dress and velvet pumps for a few occasions coming up (none of the people overlap so I can wear it more than once).
1.5 years post-op (maintenance). 19 work days to retirement (11/13).
B: eggbeaters, cottage cheese and ham
L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese
D: real good pizza
S: pumpkin yogurt (thank you Catwoman!)

It's the 13th! I realized my mistake as I was walking out the door and the kids reminded me it was Friday the 13th, but I'm just now getting time to change it.

Good morning! Thanks for all of the advice yesterday. I'm going to continue avoiding fruit, but was it helpful to add in some veggies as a snack. I usually go from 11 - 6 between meals. Despite a protein shake around 3, I'm still hungry in the afternoon (as in, cooking dinner is really difficult because I have to keep myself from eating as I'm cooking). I ate about a quarter cup of roasted vegetables after drinking my shake, and it really helped, and I didn't have trouble finishing my protein at dinner. I'm allowed to start eating seeds and skin starting Monday, so I can start eating cucumbers without deseeding them.
QOTD - I dress pretty casually at work - jeans or work pants, plain shirt or sweater, and boots. I enjoy dressing up occasionally but I wouldn't enjoy it as much if I had to do it every day. I started fitting into some dresses that I haven't worn in almost ten years, and it's been fun to wear them again (especially hearing the comments from people who aren't used to seeing me in a dress).
B - latte, cottage cheese
L - leftover salmon
S - protein shake with PB 2, roasted veg
D - scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage
E - yoga video, or just some stretching. I'm feeling very tight
water and vitamins on track

Today is massage day! And "leave for weekend getaway" day! And finish up rough draft of paper and submit assignment #3 for classes day! Woo!
QOTD: I used to be a jeans and t-shirt person, but then I lost weight and it pretty much became impossible to find jeans that fit correctly. So I switched to wrap skirts and t-shirts. Now I wear a lot of very casual dresses since, post-bracioplasty, shirts were hard to get on, so it was easier to wear sleeveless dresses. I have no fashion sense, so my clothing is pretty much all over the place.
1: protein shake
2: steak! (flank steak or skirt steak leftovers)
3: no idea since I don't know where I'll be when it's time to eat.
liquid and vites: on track
exercise: nope
