I use My Fitness Pal. It has a huge database and the ability to add your own items. You can also type in recipes and it will give you the nutrition information. There is a phone app (I have android) that is also very user friendly. I upgraded to pro, (for not much $) but I don't think it is necessary for everyone.

My username is Ladyblu1

Most people here use MyFitnessPal. It's easy to use and has a very complete database.

I've used My Fitness Pal since before I even considered surgery. Love it.

Another vote for MyFitness Pal. It's really simple to use.

The website version sucks, though. Stick to the tablet/mobile version instead.
