How much are you eating 2- months post op?

I mean per time- like how many ounces or grams?

I wasn't able to eat much but now after I'm on solids I feel like I am eating too much. 100gr/3.5oz is no problem for me.

That's about the size listed on my surgeon's plan to stay around, and I haven't had any trouble either. I am 7 weeks out on Thursday.

However, it also depends on what I eat. For instance, if I am having baked tilapia, I can eat about 3.5 ounces. If the meat is more dense, like chicken breast, then I typically stay around 2.5 ounces with a couple green beans. I know many say that you shouldn't have anything besides protein the first 6 months, but a few veggies here and there help me stay regular, fit into my surgeon's plan, and don't seem to be impeding my weight loss.

Some surgeons vary on their sleeve size, and everyone's inflammation is different, as well. :-)

I kept my meals in the 3-4 ounces range. (Still do!)

I am 4 months post-op and at 2 months I was eating 2.5 to 4 ounces. Dense meat as mentioned above (like chicken breast and beef) was closer to 2.5, but things like veg soup or chili was more like 4. And liquids were even more. I could drink about 7-8 ounces of a thick shake like Chobani yogurt drink or a protein shake.

I found the key is to eat very slowly and chew well. Eating too fast caused me to take a couple extra bites and gave me an uncomfortable feeling.

My meals have been between 3-4 ounces and my snacks about 2 ounces if I'm having a solid and about 4-6 ounces if it is protein shake mixed with oatmeal (for the added fiber). BUT, there are many times when I can't eat the whole meal/snack. Yesterday, no matter what, I couldn't get past a few bites of solid food, but then I supplemented with shake. Not sure why, just not feeling right yesterday..maybe a bug??

I'm definitely eating that much. I can eat about 1 small chicken leg and a spoon full of cooked vegetables. Tonight I ate two crab stuffed mushrooms (regular sized not portobello) and was full. Greek yogurt and the slider-like foods go right down, and I don't feel any restriction. I'll admit that I don't eat just dense proteins, but I stay under 1000 cals, and I meet my protein goals everyday. I count every single morsel that I eat through my fitness pal to keep myself honest.

Thanks for all of your replies! I think I might be over-reacting tho- I'm still loosing weight 2-3 pounds a week, just a friend of mine told me I'm eating way too much, that got me worried.. I move quite alot, about 18-25 000 steps a day (last week was 170 000 steps for the week) and drink water with an ease. So maybe I'm worrying too much.
