Morning VSGers! Is everyone suffering from lack of sleep from the time change? I'm actually pleased to be sleeping in until a 'normal' time for once. At least I'll get less crap for being up so early! We're going to my husband's grandparent's today and I'm going to learn how to make his grandma's donuts. His grandmother holds the recipe pretty close, so it's an honor that she wants to teach me. But, DONUTS.

QOTD: Apple or Android? I'm an Apple user all the way. I have a Macbook Pro, iPhone, Airpods, and Apple Watch. I had an iPad Pro issued by work that I just turned in too.

This week has been a whirlwind. I've logged my food, but have not had a chance to post on OH. And I'm coming down with a cold. I've not done well on the no carb as I've had a spoonful of roasted turnips and cauliflower, a smidge of low-carb cheesecake and some lentil crisps so I withdraw from the challenge. I'll do my own mini-challenge soon and may even make it an AMAW challenge. We'll see how it goes.

QOTD: Android all the way. My DH can't stand Apple products so it would be sacrilege to bring one in the house. He is a tinkerer so he hates how locked down they are.

M1: Coffee, PP caramel, miralax

M2: Pork Chops

M3: Chinese? Probably egg drop and the innards of an egg roll.

M4: LO Lamb and brussels

E: Nothing planned

Water/Vits: Good

I understand how (C)AMAW works really well for some people. For me, it felt like another fad diet and brought up all those feelings of food deprivation and "failure" when the only failure was not following the rules of the diet. Eating veggies shouldn't make you feel like you failed. The overall premise I like - a week of getting back to basics. My basics just happen to be a little different than the challenge's basics!

Good morning! I despise the time change and hope they do away with it someday soon. It's pointless and messes with everyone's body clock. Nick loves the spring one though because of the extra daylight so he's cheery about it.

QOTD: Apple! When Nick and I met we were freshmen in college and he was really into Apple. He had one of those colorful desktops. I had never owned a computer so I got used to using his and I've never owned anything else since. We both had the first iPhone, and we've owned iBooks, MacBooks, iPads, iPods, Apple TVs, etc. Nick loves all tech so he's tried google and android stuff too, but his heart belongs to Apple and it's the only thing I can comfortably use, lol!

b - Coffee & pp caramel

l - salami, pepperoni, and mozzarella with olives

d - ground beef taco with cheddar and tomatoes

L-Egg salad

S-Chai tea with vanilla PP shake, chicken jerky

D-Crock pot chicken with salsa and black beans

Good morning! I managed to sleep to nearly 9. Now my day is all thrown off.

QOTD: Definitely an Apple person - phone, watch, tvs, iPad, Mac, routers. I like how seemlessly all their products work together. I don't have a HomePod though. You don't hear much about them, so not sure if that would change my life one way or the other.

B - coffee, yogurt, berries, grain free granola

L - cheese, salami, Triscuit thins

D - mussels, broccoli

S - oatmeal, berries, walnuts

I'd like to say I will never own any of the home automation stuff. It's so creepy and you know damn well they are listening to keywords for advertising. I can deal with that when using my phone but putting a device in my house the on me? No thanks.
