Has anyone had their sleeve tightened up with sutures?

I've not been on here in a long time, but knew this was the place to come to!

I am a 5.5 years out. I went from 398 to currently at 284. I have a history of severe abdominal adhesions due to previous surgeries.

Two years ago my surgeon had to go in and remove more adhesions. He offered to tighten up my sleeve with sutures, and I declined at that time.

I am going to have to have another procedure to remove more adhesions, and he will be doing this one as well.

My question is, has anyone had their sleeve tightened up like this, what was it like and how was the recovery?

TIA and God Bless.

If you search "re-sleeve" you can find more posts here. Reviews seem to be mixed, as far as how effective it is. To lose more weight you must develop good habits and eat fewer calories.

Another revision to consider would be the DS. That would give you the malabsorption you may need to get to your goal weight.

Good luck.
