I had my surgery October 18, 2011.  My one year anniversary is coming up soon.  I don't know how to post pictures.  I use to wear a size 22, I am now a size 10.  My goal is 130 pounds but I don't think I will reach that by October 18.  Right now I am at 159 pounds.  This has been an interesting experience.  I am 60 years old.  I manage my eating with myfitpal.  It is hard, you do get hungry.  I see a personal trainer 3 times a week, twice a week I do Zumba and one time a week I do Hip Hop and Spinning.  I rest on Friday and Sunday.  I love reading everybody's story.  It keeps me motivated when I feel frustrated that I am not losing fast enough.  Thank you all.

 No experience with your docs...however my surgery was done y dr. Nick Nicholson. My understanding I that he is the best in this. Field.

 Thank you all for your suggestions. I am seeing a trainer 3 times a week since feb 2011, I also do elliptical 3 times a week, turbo kick one time a week, Zumba and body pump one time a week. I rest on Fridays. My food intake is no more than 800. I just wonder why it is taking so long. Again just venting

 I started at 230 pounds. Vsg oct 18 2011. Currently at 163. My goal is 130. Will I make goal before oct 18 2012?  Just venting

 I had one put in before knee surgery in 2009. It is still there. I had a DVt and pe 2007 after I broke my legs. That is more scary then I've filter.

 There is a Greek yogurt called Yassa. 70 calories. 6 grams of protein. No fat or carbs. They look like Popsicles.

 I take apex 50 plus. 9.95 on amazon for 60 pills once a day. They make one for folks younger than 50. No problems to report.

I would like to pose a question to everyone.  When you track the food you are eating are you tracking Calories, Fat, Carbs?  Or just Calories, Or just Carbs and Fat.  If you track fat, what is your goal for fat? Carbs? Calories.  I get very confused with this tracking thing.  I eat approximately 700-800 Calories a day.  I would like to get a feel of how much fat and how many carbs.
