Hugs and prayers.......I have been ill one way or another since Thanksgiving. Cold/flu...swollen glands and asthma/COPD. Been to the ER 4 times, in the hospital twice so far and several antiabotics & steriods later....my throat is still hurting and the glands are swollen still. They said I had RSV and Thrush. Now I am making a appointment to see my PCP and have a strep test because of what happened to your friend. I am so sorry about your friend....

Just was wondering...have any of you had a problem with the smell of fish ? Canned...fre**** does not matter. Since my surgery I can not smell fish or I become violently ill.

My pre-op was two weeks of liquids and 2 shakes a day.

I had my VSG on Aug 27th, 2012. I had a leak on Sept 12th and was in and out of the hospital for a month. I know its hard but i was having issues also. Slow down and take a breath. Its gonna be ok. I know for a fact it sucks right now for ya but it does get better. I had to sleep in a recliner cause I could not lay down. They put me on extra meds cause of the acid in my new tummy. And cause of the leak I had to be on a feeding tube which was not fun. IT DOES GET BETTER ! Hugs and prayers being sent out to ya...msg me if ya want to chat or need a ear.

Since surgery I have had many health issues and one being my lungs. Was put on steroids for the last 7 weeks and I had the constant munchies. I am now off the steroids and doing alot better. I stalled the whole time I was on them but thank God I didn't gain any but didn't lose. Tonight I caved in.....ate some German chocolate cake and dumped for the first time in 5 months !  That will teach me for giving in to a craving.

I would take  a case of Premier RTD shakes. The chocolate is good. I get mine at Sam's Club. Have a great time ! I went on a cruise to Mexico a few years ago and it was the best time I ever had !
