Topic: RE: What to say sometimes???

Thanks everyone I appreciate the words of advice and sharing of your own experiences!

Today it was what did you lose this week another 10 pounds this week??

They know I only weigh myself every Saturday

My response was simple " no just 1 pound actually I'm losing weight slowly which is the right way! Perhaps your noticing more due to the fact I just bought all new clothes that fit better!

They just said maybe and that was that!

Im just going to take it one comment at a time and try to not let it bother me so much!

Thanks again

Topic: RE: What to say sometimes???

I am so upset at people I work with always saying your going to waste away to nothing  soon, or we won't be able to find you your wasting away to nothing? You look tired? I've had more energy than I've had in years! Tired I think not??

I weigh 171! Down from 256 What are they going to say when I weigh 145/150.

Just hard to have people tell you your too skinny already when your not even finished yet

and no it's not being said in a positive manner at all

i have not hidden my surgery and now I'm wondering if I should have!

Just very frustrating that's all

anyone else experience this!!??

Topic: RE: how long was your longest stall?

The only time I stalled was at about 4 months! It was for 2 weeks I increased my exercise and went down to 800 calories a day and only had protein shakes and Greek yogurt and in 10 days dropped 4 pounds! Now I'm 6 months out and the weight has absolutely slowed down last week I lost .7 this week I lost 1.2 but I'll take what ever loss I can get

I only have 21 more until I reach my goal I set for myself which is 150

pre surgery i was 256

surgery on 08-20-14 233

current weight 171

stay at positive it will start again! Sometimes our bodies need to regulate before it can start up again!

So it's been six weeks and I'm down 23 pounds since surgery

for some reason I just don't feel that's as high as I've seen others on here?

Im never eating over my calories and I'm getting in all fluids walking everyday! So what's going on?

My surgeon is happy with my progress but I really thought I would have lost a little more by now.

I was originally 255.5 and on surgery day was 231.5 today I weighed in at 208.5 am I considered a lightweight??

Also I'm cleared for all food except nuts. 500-700 calories a day I avearage 600-700 now.

I'm back to veggies and fruit and limited carbs as of Thursday

I can't wait to meet with my NUT she will help me

but I'm thinking when I can add veggies and fruit it will help cut back on protein size

Thank you!!

I'm meeting with my nutritionist Thursday I'll discuss with her too.

I'm usually really careful when I measure and didn't realize until after that I forgot to minus the weight of the paper plate

I usually just eat 3 ounces and am satisfied I was just surprised and a little worried that I ate to much

I do not want to hurt my new sleeve I've worked to hard for that!

I cook everything so it's really moist nothing dry at all

it definitely helps

I measured incorrectly my digital one is broken and I forgot to weigh the plate first so I'm averaging it was 4 1/2

my plan does allows me to eat 3 to 4 ounces so I was not that far off

and I've only had liquids all day besides the steak I was just surprised that's all

it just goes to show you, you have to be careful and measure everything twice! To be sure!

I asked for advice on why it could fit as I'm new and still learning I'm not looking for criticism please it's not like I ate a bag of cookies

Ok I'm almost 6 weeks post op

on meat stage right now and as of this Thursday I'll be back on everything

i have added something new to my plan every day and have never had an issue never getting sick or throwing up

I feel like I can fit more than I should so I measure everything to be safe

tonight I ate 4 1/2 ounces of steak tips without an issue

I'm full like nice full not over full but I can't believe I could eat it all!

I keep seeing posts about only being able to eat 2 to 3 ounces why can I eat more?

My plan states I can eat 3 to 4 ounces right now and I have no problems doing so

I have had the following so far

steak.

Eggs

chicken

fish

Chili

turkey

ham

thoughts??

Topic: RE: unflavored Protein mix UNJURY or other

I love my unjury unflavored protein powder

i put it in my decaf coffee every morning to get that first 21 grams in!

You cannot taste it at all!

Just be sure anything hot you put it in is not hotter than 140 degrees

as it will curdle

I use a thermometer to test and add ice as need to cool it off a bit
