Hello, I am almost 3 weeks post op vsg. I started having trouble sleeping about a week ago. I cannot not fall asleep even very late into night/ morning. This is happening off and on. Ex - I  go to bed at 11, finally sleep at 4:00! Then have to be up at 6:00. Sleeping was not an issue prior to surgery or directly after. I cannot seem to settle. I've tried sleepy teas, meditation, but no luck. Is this normal? If so, how long does it last? Mom of 3 and working needs better sleep. Makes me too irritable on 2 hrs. Cannot be healthy.
