I am three years post band surgery and am having trouble controlling my apetite. I thought maybe finding a group to meet with would help. I do not have a doctor in the area as of yet, however that is something I will also be searching for soon as well. |

At Aurora Sinai on around 12th St. north of Wells Ave. in downtown Milwaukee. It is right off the freeway. http://www.aurorahealthcare.org/find-a-location/hospital/aur ora-sinai-medical-center I think it is a wonderful group. The people are friendly and the dietitians and nurses excellent. The speakers are very well educated in school and experience. They are inspiring me to relose some weight. Dr. Chua also has a Back on Track group that meets for a fee if you are interested. His office can help you. Dr. Prewitt at Aurora Advanced Healthcare also uses Dr. Chua's support group. I think Dr. Prewitt is an excellent bariatric surgeon. Personally I think he is the best surgeon right now. He does the VSG if you are thinking of changing from the band to that procedure. He does his own surgeries (no residents) www.ah.com I know Dr. Chua has an excellent reputation as well but I have never met him except in passing. I have had appointments with Dr. Chua's dietitian and psychologist who are very helpful. Tri harder |

I know there are groups in the Steven's Point and Wausau areas that are supposed to be very good also in case you are closer to those areas. I don't get to the support groups as often as I'd like, I live 2.5 hours from Milw. but haven't tried the closer (stevens point etc) ones yet so I have no information on them.
