We have a wind advisory for late afternoon until tomorrow morning, but it's very rare for it to get too bad here in the valley due to the foot hills surrounding us. BUT like you, I located the flashlights, batteries, and other important things. (((HUGS))) and stay safe! |

 Port Angeles, WA Member Since: 12/20/02 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 12/14/06 2:02 pm Janna, I'm about an hour and a half from you and we are suppose to be getting 60 - 90 mph gusts here in the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Made the store run for food and batteries. The rain is coming down in barrels. I don't have any trees around my house and I hope none falls on yours. My nephew and family lives over there on Kitsap Lake and I hope they will be safe also. Stay warm..... Take care......Karen B. |

| Post Date: 12/14/06 4:15 pm I happen to live down in Southwest WA. Here it is nearly 4:30pm and it is blowing like crazy already, and the storm hasn't even hit yet  My poor husband will be driving home from work right as the storm is to hit here  so I hope he makes it home safely.

And the apartment complex had the nerve to tell her to move all her furniture herself. And I can't help her with moving stuff since my hip is hurt.
