We have our batteries, food and generator ready!  The ground is so soggy already.  I hope a tree does not fall on our house!  60 - 70 mph gusts!  Yikes!

I hope it passes you by!  We have a wind advisory for late afternoon until tomorrow morning, but it's very rare for it to get too bad here in the valley due to the foot hills surrounding us.  BUT like you, I located the flashlights, batteries, and other important things.  (((HUGS))) and stay safe!

Janna, I'm about an hour and a half from you and we are suppose to be getting 60 - 90 mph gusts here in the Straits of Juan de Fuca.  Made the store run for food and batteries.  The rain is coming down in barrels.  I don't have any trees around my house and I hope none falls on yours.  My nephew and family lives over there on Kitsap Lake and I hope they will be safe also.  Stay warm.....

    Take care......Karen B.

Your area is supposed to be hit hard.  I am glad you don't have trees around you!  We will be bracing for the wind all night!  We are not far from Kitsap Lake.  Thank you for your safe wishes.   Janna B. *Right now I have the space heater on, listening to Christmas songs on the radio...

We've already lost power for more than 40 minutes here!  And the "real" storm hasn't even hit yet!

I happen to live down in Southwest WA.  Here it is nearly 4:30pm and it is blowing like crazy already, and the storm hasn't even hit yet   My poor husband will be driving home from work right as the storm is to hit here  so I hope he makes it home safely. I hope everyone stays safe!  Blessings to you.

Lots of trees down, still have power, but last night my mom's apt got over 3 inches of water flow in, and all her furniture and other stuff was ruined. And the apartment complex had the nerve to tell her to move all her furniture herself. And I can't help her with moving stuff since my hip is hurt. Hope everyone else is safe in the Pac nW Blessed Be Mindi
