We are using NSI brand capsules now (we get 'em from Vitacost.com) . Before that we were using the Vitamin SHoppe brand but the others are cheaper and when you are buying tons of vitamins for 2 people... you save where you can without settle for garbage. LOL!
Nice to see you!
Hugs back at ya, Kathy

I use Vitamin World B-Complex which does not have B1 in it and I take B1 tablets 100 mg/day. I had a "critically low" thiamine (B1) level myself and was falling down quite often and had no idea why until I had that lab drawn at the surgeon's recommendation. Since I've been taking the B1 supplements, I have not fallen again. I'll have one-year labs drawn in March and see how I've improved.

Glad to hear you are doing better.
Two folks on here had severe deficiencies on the B1. One had drop foot, a stroke and malnutrition and I believe the other had two heart attacks and a stroke before doctors figured it out. I know that if I miss my B complex for a few days... I get tingles in toes so I know I need it. My levels are fine.
I hope your labs come back nice and "normal".
Best wishes, Kathy

I dont absorb b-12 and have to take the shot..... even the bariatric advantage kind didnt work. Jess
Hmmmm...I've been taking the B complex sublingual and will check it for B 1 content. Recently I've been noticing some dizziness and had one recent experience with a dragging right foot (I attributed to my knee injury). My recent labs came back A-OK but I'm not sure they tested for B1.
Great tip - thanks so much!
