And, yes, if it is truly twisted, you need immediate surgery.
You and your family are in my prayers,

They say it is a spasm in my muscle but it feels like a kink to me. It is on my upper right abdomen bemeath my ribs. I have had Ultra Sound, MRI and they cannot figure it out. How did you find out you had that?? |

Spent 8 days in the hospital with a tube draining all gunk and stomach acids out, no food or drink for 6 days. Feeling much better now and after starting over with liquid diet, soft stage, slowly back to regular foods. My surgeon said it wasn't from anything I did (I've followed a no smoking, no caffeine, no sugar, chew everything 20+ times, protein first blah blah blah) Just something weird that sometimes happens. |

I was in the hospital for 8 days before they decided that I needed surgery to fix it. So...2 1/2 weeks after my original surgery they had to open me up and revise that whole area. Stayed another 7 days before they let me finally go home. It was horrible for me, but now I am 7 1/2 weeks out from the revision of my intestines and I am doing great and feeling pretty good too. You will be fine and just remember to follow whatever the Dr says. You are in my thoughts and prayers for an uneventful surgery! Monica
