     I had the gastric sleeve may 27th and have lost 25 or 30.. wondering about others?

    dont know the avg, however i can tell you i lost 21lbs

    There really isn't an average weight loss (unless you're in a research study and someone is actually keeping count).  Weight loss will vary with so many factors - starting BMI, whether you had to lose weight before surgery, exercise level, genetics, etc.  25-30 pounds in one month is wonderful.  That means you've averaged nearly a pound a day.  When was the last time you did that?  Congratulations!     I lost some weight before surgery, but after surgery - in one month, I lost 32 lbs. And a total of 45 with the weight I lost before.

    When I went in for my post op I had lost 28 lbs that was 2 weeks ago and the doctor said I had lost more than average.  Now I don'tk now what average is but that's more than average at 3 weeks out.  I am sure that is of NO Help at all LOL I am 5 weeks out and have now lost 40 lbs since surgery.  But just remember everyone loses differently. 25-30 in a month is WONDERFUL!!

    I had my sleeve surgery 5-16-08 and as of today 6-19-08 I have lost 22lbs so your loss is wonderful.
