    1. July 28th and was discharged on July 30th

    2. the dr told me I weighed 305 day of surgery

    3. went back to surgeon on Aug 8th and lost 17 pounds

    4.  I do a little , walking and excersicing my arms with cans of  ravioli (LOL)  so I dont get the bat wings

    5. see above with my back and knee problems I am afraid of pushing myself yet, but hoping to be able to start doing more walking and swimming

    6. whey protein shakes and instant carnation drinks

    7. I have my flinstone vitamins and vitamins with iron ready but they have not started me on those yet, they do have me on vitamin b and thyroid meds , ( my thyroid is under active )

    8. guess this survey was meant for people who had surgery for awhile now ..for me its only been  16 days.

    9. any thing with peanut butter !!!!!!!! and lasagna  they told me monthes before my surgery to stop eating pb and jelly sandwiches

    10. well being that I can only have sugar free and fat free  , pudding , yogurt and cottage cheese, ummmmmmmmm thats a tough one , cant wait til next time and I get to eat tuna

    Best of luck with your surgery , I am so glad I did it , my cousin and several other people I know have had it done and with great out comes ...........so I am hoping I too am a great out come

    6 How do you get in all your protein? I just eat protein first at all meals and if I am not too full I eat my veggies. One meal per day is all protein like some cheese or eggs.

    7 What supplements do you take? I take Optisource vitamins 4 per day

    8 How many sizes did you lose? I started at a size 28 and I am wearing a 20 now.

    9 What was your favorite food before surgery? I LOVE Curry Beef (I won't lie I still miss it)

    Spinal fusion surgery!?!?  OUCH!!

    My husband just had that done on March 31.........he'd been off work since February 26, just went back on August 1.  He's got 4 rods, 2 screws and an artificial disc in his back now.  He had 2 fractured vetebre and a torn disc.

    Hope everything goes well for you dear, I'll be thinking of you!!

    1. Date of my surgery was March 14, 2001.  I was released from the hospital  in May of 2001. Then, was on home health care for another month.

    2.  I weighed 268 at time of surgery.  I am 5'9" tall.

    3.  I lost 113 lbs. total. I got down to 155 lbs.  I have regained 75 lbs.

    4.  I walk almost every day.  I recently had a "heavy lifting accident", and have been dealing with a back injury since last week.

    5.  Walking.

    6.  Protein shakes, eggs, chicken, string cheese, greek yogurt, nonfat milk and fish.

    7.  B12 self-injection monthly, niferex iron daily, Bariatric Advantage Multi-Vites:2 per day, Bariatric advantage calcium citrate, 3 per day.  Waiting for my Bariatric Advantage dry D to arrive.

    8.  Went from 22/24 down to size 10 pants, medium tops.  Now in size 16, large or XL.  I wear scrubs to work, and have gone up to a size XL. :(

    9.  Favorite food before surgery?  Probably lasagna.  I had a huge sweet tooth.

    10. Favorite food now?  Probably scrambled eggs, with cottage cheese and salsa.

    1 What was the date of your surgery?  March 24, (edit) let's make that 2006, not in 2008. LOL

    2 How much did you weigh before surgery? 350 lbs

    3 How much have you lost total? 175 lbs

    4 Do you exercise? Not as much as I used to.  Went to the gym tonight after work, going to try to get back to it regularly. It is a big assest in this journey!

    5 What type of exercise do you do? I try to walk at lunch.  When at the gym i do the treadmill, rowing maching, arm weights, crunches.

    6 How do you get in all your protein? 1-2 protein shakes a day, whatever type of meat I have for dinner, breakfast is mostly cottage cheese.

    7 What supplements do you take? Multi vitamin 2x day, calcium 2 x day, B-12 2x a day, zinc, magnesium 2 x day, iron daily.

    8 How many sizes did you lose? Size 32/34w to mosty 14w, Jackets 16w due to being busty still! Tops XL.

    9 What was your favorite food before surgery? Fast food I guess, don't like to cook, quick and easy.

    10 What is your favorite food now? Cottage cheese and veggies (zucchini mostly).

    How much did you weigh before surgery?  228 lbs.

    3 How much have you lost total?  84 lbs.

    4 Do you exercise?  Yes.

    5 What type of exercise do you do?  Treadmill, outdoor walking, dancing, and resistance training.  (at least 3 x per week)

    6 How do you get in all your protein?  I start the day off with a sugar free capp w/ a scoop of unflavored Unjury (everyday!).  I sometimes mix unfalvored Unjury w/ crysal light too.  Most days I get at least 40 grams of protein just from Unjury and the rest from food.  Other days I get 60 grams from Unjury and the rest from food.  Protein per day = 80 - 110 grams per day.

    7 What supplements do you take?  Four Optisource chewables and one prescription Iron (Repliva)

    8 How many sizes did you lose?  from 20 and 22s to a size 8.

    9 What was your favorite before surgery?  All pastries and anything greasy!

    10 What is your favorite food now?  Salad made with lettuce tomatoe, diced chicken, shredded cheese, and buffalo wing sauce.

Bariatric Advantage Chewable Vitamins, Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate Lozenges, Dry-D 50-IU Capsules, Ferrlicit 100 MCG Intravenous Drip Iron Bi-weekly, Vitamin B-12 Injection Monthly,  I forsee adding other micronutrients that I may be lacking. (GNC Omega 3 Chews, Various Foods with Omega Added, Various Flax Added Foods...)

    8 How many sizes did you lose?  I didn't lose anything.  I gave most of them away.  I am nice like that.

    9 What was your favorite food before surgery?  Pasta with tons of butter on it.

    10 What is your favorite food now? Same damn thing.  WLS doesn't change your brain.
