Ok I heard someone talking about the wii fit. I have one but the only thing I feel that is worth me doing is running. So I run 3.5 miles everyday on it. I thought I heard someone else saying they had another Wii game they liked better than wii fit. Please help?

Yeah, I play all of those too. But it does not feel like a work out. I want something that will get your heart rate up and stay up for 30 min or longer.

    Thanks for your reply!

I really like my Wii Fit all you do is run you don't play the balancing games?  I really like the boxing, steps, and hola hoop on wii fit.  I also love tracking my weight.. I got on this morning and I was NORMAL!

Have you tried personal trainer or the Biggest loser Julian work out game?  I haven't done them yet so can't say if they are good

Ohhh...be careful of the Biggest Looser Julian game...it has extremely bad reviews online. Apparently, the graphics are horrible and there is a time/lag difference between when you do an action and when the game registers the action...so much so that it is apparently maddening to play.

However, this is all hearsay! I haven't played it myself.....

Yeah I do the balancing games too. But during the week I push for time and I just want a hard core work out. Like something that will keep my heart rate up for 30 min. I have 2 small girls at home so I have to use my time wisley.
Thanks and open to any more Ideas you may have.

I bet the other game they wearing discussing was "My Fitness Coach". It doesn't use the wii fit board but it does provide a good workout! It is a bit like the old workout videos but is still fun.

Plus, there are more games coming out for the wii fit board...right before Christmas a batch of games came out for the wii fit board and there are some more scheduled for, I think, March....

Good luck finding some fun exercise games!

...Oh, I also use Dance, Dance Revolution a lot...it also gives a good workout.

What does the Fitness Coach do? Is it a good upbeat workout. I hate doing one thing and waiting to do another. I want something upbeat. Thanks and  Let me know if you have any more ideas.

The best part about Fitness Coach is that you don't have to stop in-between each activity!

Before investing in any games...I recommend going to Blockbuster or some local video rental store and rent some of the wii games....and see what you like.

    Good luck!

If you can run 3.5 miles then maybe you would be better off just investing in a treadmill if you can't run outside.  I can't even run for 5 minutes on my treadmill so I say if your actually running for 3.5 miles then I wouldn't worry about it.

Will I ever meet it? I am only eating 800 or less cals a day and only eat healthy food. I am just aggravated and cant get below the 200 mark. I want to see it soooo BAD! I am 2 months out lost 36 pounds is that a good amount?

    Please any advice?????

You're so funny.  I felt the same way about the 200 mark and now am 184, go figure.  i just told another poster that you read on here all the time about stalls, they are just part of the journey.  Now instead of upsetting myself I just use the analogy that while on a long road trip you have times when you are speeding along great and making good time but it's enevitable that you will eventually have to slow down when you run into traffic, much like a stall, but eventually you get where you are going and that is the same with us.

I've also noticed that even when the scale doesn't move, my jeans and clothes still seem to be getting bigger on me, so measure yourself too and in a few days you'll probably see a whoosh on that scale.  Perhaps you should trick your body and not run for two days or switch to everyother and add in some weight training and see what happens.

On Wii Fit, under the title "Aerobics" you can choose hula hoop, step, or running. I like them all but my favorite is the step. It's very similar to DDR but using the balance board instead of a mat. After you use the step game for a while, Wii will give you the next level games of step. You can choose a 3 minute workout in the first level or a 5 min one or a 10 minute one in the next two levels.

I recently found that Wii has a DDR game. I'm going to check it out. I've heard bad reviews on the Jillian Michaels game... I'm not surprised because she is such a b**ch to the contestants on the Biggest Loser.

I think that the game you are thinking of is:
    nActive Life Outdoor Challenge

It gets pretty good reviews online.  I would stay away from the Jillian Michaels Wii game.  All the reviews I have read on it are terrible.
I am afraid to rent any Wii games from blockbuster.  In our area there is a concern that someone there is giving out peoples addresses based on the games rented, and then the houses are broken into and very little taken except gaming systems, laptops etc.

    Survivor hopeful!
