    grouchy pouch

My pouch is just being nasty to me started the night before so I stuck to liquids today to see if that helped calm it but nope even water is making it be mean

any ideas on how to soothe my little pouch
Sorry to hear your not feeling good.  Maybe you caught a bug?  I would keep to liquids too for the time being.  I get an irritable pouch at times, usually in the a.m. and some mornings are worse than others.  I just try to put my pills and liquid in very slowly.  Seems if I haven't had enough fluids the day before it is more irritable but I don't know if thats the cause or not  Take Care!

Maybe you have developed an ulcer?

As the proud owner of a grouchy pouch, I can recommend drinking warm herbal mint tea--when you get up, before you eat, etc. It helps thin out and clear out accummulated phlegm or nasal discharge that can run down the back of your throat (and you might not even be aware of it, but it's common during healing). And it just relaxes and soothes you.

Are you drinking milk (lactose) products? If you are, consider eliminating them for a few days to see if that makes a difference. Are you trying to add too many foods too soon? If so, cut back so you can carefully assess what works and what doesn't at this time (it can change over the months).

    Just a thought.

Mine has been grouchy the last couple of days, although it seems happier today, thank goodness.  Try sticking to liquids or at least soft foods, like yogurt.  Peppermint tea might help.  If it continues more than a couple days, you might need to call your doctor.  Sometimes they just get grouchy, but sometimes it can be a symptom of a bigger problem.
