    Whatcha Eating Today EveryOne?

    Happy Tuesday Wonderful WETEO's, hoping you all have had an amazing day!  Now that my down time is behind me I am ready to start getting some things done, more slowly of course.  KINDA!  lol!  I do have to finish my midterm within the next few days though.  Tonight I want to clean house a bit.  I have neglected it this week.  Cleaning lady not due until next Tues. 
    B: a wee bit of low fat cottage cheese with a few small peach slices.  I don't really enjoy this breakfast as much as I use to maybe because my taste buds are still not back all the way.

    S: a few sugar free lifesavers and coffee flavored candies
    L: chicken salad (didn't make me feel very good so had very little)
    S: chicken soup with some melted pepper jack
    D: I have no idea yet but I have chicken breast stuffed with broccoli that I am thinking will make a quick and easy meal.

    I am at chess club right now with 40 middle school kids.  I must be really lucky because I hear so many complaints pre-teenagers but these kids are really cool.  So I have decided to do the Weigh****chers thing so now the question is: What is the best day to go?  Do you go on Thurs and allow for a little liberalism over the weekend or do you go on Sat or Sun or Monday?  Hummmmm?  Can't wait to hear what you all have to say and the reasons why.  This should be fun and interesting.  Share and Care, Post and Host!  Great big HUGGLES!  Gina  : )

    hi all!

    had a good day today, i feel better and the food is staying down.  so far i lost a bit over 30 pounds! it feels good. here we go.

    b- soft boiled egg w/ half slice of toast ( no butter )

    l- protein shake

    d- i have no clue! but knowing how i am, something will be eaten. probably Greek yogurt

    Oh what a Tuesday...I keep telling myself I will not get sick--but honestly my body feels a little achy.  So tonight I am making chili with lots of lean beef and beans..yum!   I stopped by my local grocery store and noticed in their discounted items they had a bottle of Bariatric Advantage vitamins for half price...this particular branch won't be carrying them anymore.   So I bought them, and I am making a new vow to be diligant with my vitamins...I did great the first 18 months out of surgery, the past 3-4 weeks I have been awful!!! I need to take care of me :)

    Breakfast- protein shake (28)
    Snack- 1/2 of a pure protein bar and 1 tsp of white chocolate pb (10)
    Lunch- boca chicken patty topped w/ 2 T. of marinara and 1 oz of mozzarella (15)
    Snack- 1-1/2 servings of cheezits...ahhh
    Dinner- will be 1 cup of homemade chili topped with a little cheddar and jalapenos (20)

    I am now a regular watcher of Sons of Anarchy...is anyone else watching it on Tuesday nights, I just love it!

    Very cranky today.  We have to do a one week unpaid fulough.  We lost our pension.  They won't contribute in our 401K for a year.  And I am still fighting with my company on insurance for my WLS.  Apparently there was a $10K maximum cap on bariatric surgery.  This was not communicated in Aetna's pre-approval letter, nor is it written in our medical handbook that HR had provided to us.  Aetna is telling me I am out of pocket $50K+.
    Very, very disgusted right now. 

    B:  1 Egg with Cheese & 1 Slice Turky Bacon (12)

    Thank you for introducing me to the White Chocolate PB!!! Half the jar is gone almost!! Mmmm.....had it on banana, dipped pretzels in it and had some straight out of the jar! OMG!!
    Have you tried any of the other flavors?? IS yours the NYC Company?? I will def. try other flavors!!
    Watch out for the dreaded cold! I started Saturday night with sore throat. Now I am freezing, achy and sniffing like mad! I think I will be needing a day off tomorrow. Ahhhh...

    I have to say I am very, very bad with my vitamins. Never take them and BW is fine. Go figure.

    Not a big TV watcher here. Food Network and House Hunters are my faves!!

    I found it at my local grocery store. Hannaford. Top shelf. With the peanut butter. It is a NYC Company. They have other flavors too!! It is a bit pricey but.....we WETEO'S deserve nothing but the best! I have not introduced it to my family yet..... I keep it hidden.

    My favorite NYC company peanut butter is actually the dark chocolate pb.   I don't buy it as much b/c Zach puts it in his protein shakes and it goes away really quickly!!!    a jar of the pb lasts me forever, if he is putting it in his shakes it lasts 2 weeks...so I keep him stocked in Jif :)

    Different flavors of PB?  Are you serious?  Do you have a link?

    IS that white chocolate peanut butter??? If so, where would I find that?  
    Today was a good day!  One more day closer to Friday, snicker'n!  Ain't it a shame we start our weeks out wishing it was ova! I had my monthly appt with my psychologist today and its nice to share with someone else my fears for my future.  After all, I am a "Food Addict" .... but I realize that the further out I get  ....... not only does my body heal ... but my mind heals also, and I can re-establish a healthy relationship with food.

    B:     BSN Lean Dessert protein

    L:      Pintos & Cheese from Taco Bell
             Insides of a soft chicken taco

    S:     Decaf coffee w/sugar free french vanilla creamer

    D:     Yummy yummy, and here's the recipe, don't even know what to call it, lol ....! Melted 8 oz fat free cream cheese in 1/2 c. chicken broth, added a jar of roasted red peppers (pureed), then added cooked shrimp.  You can serve it over wheat pasta, or do what I did ... toasted an extreme fiber tortilla in broiler and dipped it in it like dip! I love the "crunch"!!

    I need more protein so I will probably have a protein drink later this evening.

    Not my best, due to my pregnancy I have alot of food aversions. I am forcing myself to eat.

    Hi WETEO's! What a lousy day here in the 'burgh.  It was cold and cloudy and icky out...typical day for fall and winter! It is so cold in my house but I refuse to turn on the furnace so soon. No, no, no!!! I'll wear my snuggie instead.  It's the joke of the household but boy is it warm! I'm still not 100% and still not back to the gym yet.  I'm taking Friday off since it's a clerical day so I can sleep, so hopefully I'll get to the gym then.  Crazy day at work today....the kids are starting to act themselves and our security guards are starting to get a true taste of what the year will bring.  Our kids are just flat out crazy!!!

    Enough ramble...on to the food!
    B:  2 pcs baked deli ham w/ 2 pcs swiss cheese
          decaf w/ pumpkin creamer

    S:  3 bites of cottage cheese
          handful of cashews
          1 bite of gooey cholate brownie a perspective homecoming queen was handing out

    L:  chili w/ cheese
          asparagus, green beans, corn
          greek yogurt w/ granola

    S:  decaf latte from DD but NO MUNCHKINS TODAY!!! 

    D:  tortilla pizza on low carb tortilla w/ moz cheese and turkey pepperoni
           green beans

    S:  protein chai tea

    Sooooooo tired.  I'm going to be in bed by 9 tonight!

    Pumpkin Creamer???What brand and where did you find it? It sounds yummy!

    International Delight/ Pumpkin Pie spice.  Has like 6gr of sugar but it is so good and I only use a little splash.

    I hear ya with the cold and the crazy kids!!
    I started with a sore throat and now am freezing too! Had a soccer game this afternoon in the nice damp, windy air. Same stinkin weather in Upstate NY and you guys! I hate it! I want to go West!

    I work with crazy little kids and it gets to be pretty exhausting! Feeling a day off coming.....maybe tomorrow.

    Pumpkin creamer. Mmmm. I am a big fan of all the flavored creamers! Can't drink my coffee without it!!

    Congrats on the "no Munchins" and protein chi tea??? Please do tell....where did you get it?

    protein chai tea is a recipe I got from a regular in the Eatin' good thread that we did last year.  Basically the recipe is as follows:

    6 scoops of vanilla protein powder
    1.5 cups powdered nonfat milk
    3/4 cup splenda
    3/4 cup instant unsweetened iced tea mix
    cinnamon, ground cloves, allspice, ground ginger...about a TB of each, sometimes a little more or less, depending on taste.

    Mix all in a bowl; use 1/2 cup of mix with a little milk or water to make a slurry then mix with ho****er (I use a fairly big mug) and mix well.  I always do a squirt of whipped cream on top. 

    This is my regular, nightly fix.  Sometimes this is enough to tie me over instead of a meal. I haven't actually figured out the calories and protein but I thought the protein was around 25gr or something like that.  I go through a batch a week.  YUMMY!!!

    I just remembered I had a bag of unopened SF Carmel Hot coco from spring that I bought for a school fundraiser. I had a cup and it was yummy!! Sweet and warm and creamy....perfect just before bed..... 

    Thanks for the chai tea recipe. I used to make an orange spice tea with dry ice tea (Nestea), orange tang, sugar, and some spices. I'll have to pull the recipe and see if I can make it "friendly".
